Shri Rajendra Chaudhari, a Civil Engineering Graduate from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda (Gujarat) has been appointed as the Managing Director of HSCL w.e.f September 13, 2019.

A proven multi-tasker and an accomplished leader, playing a major role in NBCC’s business operations , Sh. Chaudhari joined NBCC on September 12, 2005. During all these years, he served the Company in various important capacities, before being appointed as Director(Commercial) in the Company on 10.06.2015, by the Government of India. Besides being a member of the Board of Directors, he is the overall in-charge of various Divisions at corporate office e.g. Central Procurement Group, Contract Engineering, RTI, LMA, Law, Ministry Co-ordination, ISO, Research & Development, Safety, Administration, IT, Rajbhasha Cell, CSR Division, Business Development, Overseas Projects, Real Estate (Execution, Marketing & Sales), Re-development works (Execution, Marketing & Sales) besides overall in-charge of various Regional Business Groups (RBGs), Strategic Groups (SBGs)/ Zones e.g. RBG (East Kidwai Nagar), RBG (Redevelopment), DDA Works, RBG (Delhi-I), RBG (Rajasthan, Gujarat & Madhya Pradesh), RBG (Infra), World Trade Centre-Delhi, Twin Tower Guwahati.

Under his vision company has started the Redevelopment Projects of Various Government Old Colonies on Self Sustainable Model. Now Redevelopment of East Kidwai Nagar Project in South Delhi is development as Sub- Smart City under his guidance. Construction Cost of the East Kidwai Nagar Project is 5000 Cr.

Under his dynamic leadership Company has been conferred with the stature of Navratna on 2014. His Prime focus on the successful execution of all the on-going projects under business verticals of PMC, EPC, Real Estate and Re-Development. This paved the way for NBCC in becoming a National as well as Global giant in construction industry.

His Main objective is to successful delivery of projects with good quality and utmost client satisfaction and also to facilitate early start of projects bagged by the company.

Heading the Business Development of NBCC & Now Order book status has soared to all time high of Approx. Rs. 80,000 Crore at present having significant growth in order book as our order book in FY 15-16 is 17516.23.

Prior to assuming the office of Director (Commercial), Sh. Chaudhari was holding the position of Sr. Executive Director (Commercial) in NBCC, primarily overseeing the operations of the Company’s Real Estate Segment. In addition, he was also heading some key wings of NBCC namely, Consultancy, Systems, Administration and CSR. Known for his penchant in digital dynamics, Sh. Chaudhari also had stint in Western Coal Fields, another CPSE, before joining NBCC in 2005.

Major’s Projects Execution under Him:

  • Redevelopment seven residential colonies in New Delhi. One of the biggest beneficiaries of this move will be State-run NBCC. Out of a total expenditure of close to ₹32,000 crore, NBCC has won orders totalling ₹25,000 crore. NBCC will execute the Nauroji Nagar, Sarojini Nagar and Netaji Nagar projects. NBCC will generate this money (₹32,000 crore) by selling a part of the property in Sarojini Nagar and Nauroji Nagar.
  • The INTEGRATED EXHIBITION-CUM-CONVENTION CENTRE- Indian Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) for redevelopment of Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, an estimated cost of Rs 2,149 crore.
  • Indo-Pak Borer Fencing Work at Gujarat Boarder under Ministry of home Affairs.
  • Redevelopment of ten(10) railway stations across the country on global standards with Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA).
  • Successfully completed the first phase of the prestigious East Kidwai Nagar Redevelopment Scheme of the central government. The project is scheduled for completion by 2019.
  • Construction of Twin Tower Trade Centre at Guwahati, Assam amounting Rs 2000 crore (approx.).
  • Construction of India Pavilion at the Dubai World Expo 2020 Aproox. Cost is 400 Cr. under Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
  • Construction of new Supreme Court Building and Construction of 700 nos social housing units at Dagotiere and Mare Tabac for $50 Millions.
  • Mahatma Gandhi Convention Centres (MGCC) in nine (9) African Countries namely Niger, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Liberia, Gambia, Burkina Faso, Togo and Gabon amounting Rs. 2000 Crores (approx).
